Slumdog Millionaire Review
Grimy cops, and even more despicable underground figures is what you can expect to see in this Drama/ I want say Romance? Anyway, its starts out with Jamal (Dev Patel), a young Indian man who is accused of cheating a popular television show called, “Who wants to be a Millionaire”, in which contestants have to answer a series of hard questions to win big money. After Jamal successfully makes it to the final question for 20,000,000 Rupees (408,247 US dollars) the show ends for the day, as he is leaving, the story begins…..
Composed of mainly flashbacks, this film is a great one. Danny Boyle does an EXCELLENT job of incorporating everything into on movie in a way that you are not confused. You may be familiar with his previous works, such a Trainspotting, The Beach, and 28 Days Later. If you are a fan of his style, of course you will like this one. There are funny moments, gross moments, sad moments, and great moments. Although many of the stars are not recognizable, winning four Golden Globes, you would think they have been on the Hollywood circuit for years.

Monty Python Holy Grail review
Monty Python’s Holy Grail is a movie one can hardly put into words. A type of over the top humor delivered in a comedy sketch style. Coming off of their TV series and movie “And now for something Completely Different”, which was compiled from their most popular sketches, Monty Python wanted to make a turn into a more typical motion picture.
It starts out following King Arthur (the late Graham Chapman) as he journeys through medieval lands, searching for the Holy Grail. Along the way he has hilarious encounters, such as a Knight who refuses to stop fighting even with no limbs left, a killer rabbit, and some quirky Frenchman. He runs into Sir Lancelot (John Cleese), who slaughters a whole city to save a prince that doesn’t actually need saving, Sir Bedevere the Wise( Terry Jones), Sir Galahad (Michael Palin) who finds himself in a castle surrounded by beautiful women wanting to have oral sex with him, and the not so brave Sir Robin ( Eric Idle) all on the quest for the Holy Grail. Filmed on a tiny budget of 150,000 pounds throughout Scotland, they succeeded in making an all time classic comedy film. If you consider yourself a film fanatic, I recommend you own a copy of this movie. That is, of course, if you want to laugh so much you can’t breathe. I cannot even count how many times I’ve watched it. And even better, this is only one of the 5 Monty Python films, the others I will be reviewing right here, at CinemaSquad.
